Shipper/Manufacturer wants to send export goods overseas.

First contact would be Freight Forwarder/Shipping Agent.

They would book space on a vessel, arrange the leasing of a container/flat rack in which to pack goods. Costs would be agreed with the Forwarder/Agent.

Freight Forwarder/Agent then would contact Cargo Secure Limited with details of the goods to be exported/imported and ask us to quote for the load. A price having been agreed and accepted by the shipper the goods for export would be sent to us by road transport and delivered into our depots in Felixstowe. It is also possible for us to organise the collection.

IMPORTERS

If your cargo is to be imported via FELIXSTOWE and you require unpacking at the port, call us or call your Shipping Agent and ask them to contact us on your behalf.

If your consignment is too heavy for road transport, we can unload the overweight, restow your container and arrange onward transport of the balance to your required destination.

Problem with shifted loads - too dangerous for the roads - we can restow and make safe for onward transportation.

We have our own fleet of skeletal trailers flatbeds and low loader trailers with which we can either deliver your imports or collect your exports from anywhere in the UK, we can also collect/deliver curtain sided vehicle loads as well as LCL cargos. We can collect your goods from any where in the UK and deliver to anywhere in the UK, the final destination does not necessarily have to be a shipping port.
